Our Shipping Process

We carefully prepare each handcrafted piece for its journey to you. Our process is designed for clarity and reliability.

Order Processing & Timeline

  • Order Processing: All orders are processed within 1-2 business days of payment confirmation.
  • Production Time: Please note that many of our pieces, especially those from our Astrid and Audrey collections or made-to-order items, are crafted upon purchase. Production times vary and will be communicated upon order confirmation.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates

We ship globally* using trusted carriers to ensure your furniture arrives safely.

  1. Standard Shipping (Fee: $12.95):
    • Carrier: DHL or FedEx.
    • Delivery Time: 10-15 business days after dispatch.
    • Recommended for faster, tracked delivery.
  2. Free Shipping:
    • Carrier: EMS.
    • Delivery Time: 15-25 business days after dispatch.
    • Available for orders over $50.

*We serve a global community, but delivery to some remote areas in Asia and other regions may be limited or incur additional charges. Please refer to our checkout for specific details regarding your location.

Our Returns & Exchanges Commitment

We craft heirlooms with the intention that they will be cherished for generations. We also understand that needs may change. Our policy is built on transparency and a commitment to your satisfaction, balancing practicality with our responsibility towards sustainably managed, handcrafted goods.

1. Eligibility for Return or Exchange

To qualify for a return or exchange, the item must meet all of the following criteria:

  • In Original Condition: Unassembled, unused, and in its original packaging with all tags, hardware, and protective materials intact.
  • Within the Return Window: The request must be initiated within 15 days of the delivery date.
  • Proof of Purchase: Your original order number or invoice must be provided.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the custom, intimate, or handcrafted nature of the following, they are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Made-to-Order or Customized Furniture: Any item crafted to your specific specifications, including custom finishes or dimensions.
  • Clearance or Final Sale Items: These items are explicitly marked at the time of purchase.
  • Assembled or Installed Items: Once assembly has begun or installation is complete, the item cannot be returned. This is particularly important for complex pieces like our Armoires & Wardrobes and Bedroom Sets.
  • Items Damaged Due to Customer Mishandling: We strongly advise inspecting your delivery promptly upon arrival.

3. The Return & Exchange Process

We’ve streamlined our process to be as straightforward as our craftsmanship.

  1. Initiate Your Request: Within 15 days of delivery, contact our Customer Care team at [email protected]. Include your order number and reason for return/exchange. You may use the template provided below.
  2. Receive Authorization: We will review your request. If approved, we will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed packaging/shipping instructions. Returns without an RMA will not be accepted.
  3. Package Securely: Repack the item in its original packaging with all materials. We recommend insuring the return shipment for its full value.
  4. Ship the Item: Send the item to our returns address (provided with your RMA). The customer is responsible for the cost and risk of return shipping, unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.
  5. Inspection & Processing: Upon receipt at our studio, our team will inspect the item (typically within 5 business days) to ensure it meets eligibility criteria. We will then notify you via email regarding your refund or exchange status.

4. Refund Timeline & Method

Upon successful inspection and approval of your return:

  • Timeline: Your refund will be processed within 10 business days of our receipt and approval of the returned item.
  • Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during purchase (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal).
  • Deductions: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. For exchanges, we cover standard shipping for the replacement to your original region (remote area exclusions apply).

Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 3-10 business days for the refund to post to your account.

5. Exchange Process

To exchange an item (e.g., an Accent Chair for a different model, or a different finish from our Astrid collection), follow the standard return process, indicating your desired exchange item in your initial request. We will hold the new item pending inspection of the return. Price differences will be invoiced or refunded accordingly.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Your satisfaction is paramount. If your item arrives damaged or is incorrect:

  • Upon Delivery: Note any damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt.
  • Within 48 Hours: Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage/incorrect item and the packaging.
  • We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you, including prepaid return shipping if necessary.
